Six Stone Water Jars
Six Stone Water Jars
Go ahead
count them.
They were full of water—
NOW…they overflow
with wine.
Ask the Bridegroom
or ask his bride.
WAIT…ask the mother—
Yes, the woman who
gave instruction to
the servers
(did they really listen to a woman?)
But, that’s what it says. She spoke.
“Do whatever he tells you.”
Can you imagine whose
wedding this was?
Now, have a sip of that wine.
(Inspired by the Gospel of John 2:1-11/Second Sunday in Ordinary Time)
I am filled with gratitude and joy for the richness shared in the six stone water jars – and it’s beautiful drawing. It is filled with contemplation that I am enjoying. Even more questions surface. Questions that don’t needs answers, and have a richness all of their own. They are like food for my journey. Food that accompanies this Divine wine. Thank you Dear Sister. Thank you for sharing what pours forth from the vessel of you.
I LOVE drinking from the same cup with YOU!!!
